This policy explains what data Postlane processes, where it comes from, what we use it for, who else handles it, how long we keep it and how you can delete it.

Data we process

Your Postlane account

Your email address and your password, which is stored only as a secure hash and never in plain text, plus the sessions you open.

Data from Instagram

When you connect an Instagram professional account through Instagram's official login, we receive only the data covered by the permissions you approve on Instagram's screen:

• Profile basics: account ID, username, name, profile picture, account type and follower count.
• Your posts: post IDs, captions, links, dates, media type and media URLs.
• Insights: statistics of your posts, such as views, reach, likes, comments, saves and shares, and views from Facebook when a post is also shared there.
• Access token: the key Instagram gives us to act on your behalf. It is stored encrypted.

Postlane does not read your direct messages and does not read or manage your comments.

Content you publish

The photos and videos you upload and the captions you write, the time you choose to publish them and the result of each publication.

Technical records

A log of the actions performed for your account (for example, a publication or an insights request), when they happened and whether they failed, to keep the service working and to investigate problems.

How we use your data

Only to provide the service you asked for: to show the account you connected, its posts and their insights, to publish the content you create in Postlane, to tell you when something needs your attention (for example, that a connection has expired), to answer your messages and to keep the service secure and working.

We do not sell your data. We do not use it for advertising, we do not build profiles of you or of your audience, and we do not share it with data brokers. Data obtained from Instagram is used only in accordance with Meta's Platform Terms and Developer Policies.

Who else processes your data

• Cloudflare hosts the application, its database and the files you upload, as our service provider.
• Instagram (Meta) is the source of your Instagram data and receives the content you choose to publish. To publish a photo or video, Instagram downloads it from our storage through a temporary link.

Some of these providers operate outside the European Union, so part of your data may be processed outside it, under each provider's data protection terms.

How long we keep it

• Your account and the data of your connected Instagram accounts, while your account exists and the connection is active.
• The photos and videos you upload, until they are published or the publication fails, and in any case no more than 7 days.
• Technical records, up to 90 days.
• When you disconnect an Instagram account, remove Postlane from your Instagram settings or ask us to delete your data, we delete the related data within 30 days.

How to delete your data

You can do it yourself at any time:

• On Instagram, go to Settings → Apps and websites and remove Postlane. Access stops immediately, Instagram notifies us and we delete the data of that account within 30 days.
• Or write to contacto@nosolofans.com with the subject "Data deletion" from the email of your Postlane account, indicating the Instagram username. We confirm by email when it is done.

Full instructions on our data deletion page. Posts already published stay on your Instagram account, because they are yours.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its processing, or to receive a copy of it. Write to contacto@nosolofans.com. If you are in the European Union, you can also complain to your local data protection authority. If you are a California resident, you have the rights granted by the CCPA, and we do not sell or share your personal information.

Cookies

Postlane uses only the cookies needed to keep you signed in. There are no advertising or analytics cookies.

Age

Postlane is intended for businesses and professionals aged 18 or over.

Changes to this policy

If anything above changes, the date at the top changes too. If the change is important, we will tell you by email.
